SHORT CLASS PLAN

In the beginning of every class, our instructors will demonstrate the techniques written on the course plan (please refer below accordingly) for roughly 15-30 minutes. Customers may choose to follow the demonstrations or follow a different direction.

Kindly be informed that our Short Class is not a 1:1 session. Customers are free to experiment/ create works according to their own capabilities and initiative to learn. Our instructors will be around to guide customers if required.

We recommend our customers to complete their sessions within 6 months from their first session. The voucher will expire after 1 year of purchase.


5 sessions

+ 1 glazing session

  1. Basic coiling

    • Cutting a centered based

    • Rolling coils

    • Building cylinder

  2. Pinching + wedging

    • Basic pinch pot (hand size)

    • Advanced pinching ( bowl,cup, etc)

    • Wedging- preparing clay

  3. Advanced coiling

    • Change shape after cylinder ( open to bowl or vase)

    • Coiling with different shape

    • Can coil plates

  4. Slab + sculpting

    • Slab horizontal & vertical (plate and cylinder)

  5. Final form + touch up

  6. Glazing session

    • Works will be bisque fired approximately 1-2 weeks after the last session

    • ARUDIO will contact you to make an appointment for the glazing session after your works have been bisque fired
